Arch Timber Protection is the owner of the Tanalised timber brand, creating and developing timber treatments for the preservation and fire retarding of construction timber. The products were distributed internationally, and in the UK treatments were used on such iconic buildings as the Globe Theatre in London and the Senedd in Cardiff.
We worked with Arch for seven years until the business was acquired by Swiss chemical giant Lonza when the marketing was consolidated in Switzerland. In the seven years, we worked on re-establishing the ownership of the
Tanalised brand, launched several new products and supported numerous distributors, timber treaters and partner companies through joint pr initiatives.
- Ongoing trade media relations supporting use cases of the various products
- Local and regional press campaigns for timber treaters
- Launch of Dricon FR fire retardant at a press event at the Globe Theatre
- Feature placement for the larger and exceptional installations
Arch products were seen in architectural and building publications throughout the industry, and the challenge of reinforcing the ownership of the 'tanalised' brand was a success.
